The Kindergarten section of our school has conducted Community Helpers Day – a day to honour the helpers who serve our community on July 30th. The event aimed to raise awareness among kids that community helpers are our life heroes. Students were invited to come dressed as their favourite community helpers. Students and teachers initiated the programme with a rally towards the auditorium. Various programmes, like dance, character play, fashion shows and games, were also done at this event. The kids celebrated and thanked the wonderful helpers who make the world a better place.
Aura of Virtue – a celebration of compassion, truth and joy has been successfully conducted in our school. It was an event which focused on nurturing virtue by influencing students to act with kindness and integrity. Special assembly was conducted, and various programmes like action song, speech, storytelling and skit were also done by students. A virtue of goodness oath was also taken at this event.
Our school successfully conducted Nature Conservation Day. Special assembly has been conducted to raise awareness about protecting natural resources. The programme taught the students how to protect plants, animals, and natural resources. Students give speeches, recite poems, and take green pledges to save water, energy, and wildlife. Also, they collect plastic waste and litter to promote clean and sustainable school grounds.
Our school successfully conducted the annual mega-event, Sastrolsavam – ‘SCIGNITE’ featuring science, mathematics, social science, work experience, and IT fairs, on July 10. Beyond the curriculum, each and every student has enthusiastically participated in the event to show their talents in various competitions. By conducting Shasthrolsavam, it aimed to identify and encourage bright students who—beyond mere achievements and grades—demonstrate active participation, scientific aptitude, the right attitude, and intellectual curiosity.
The 'Vidyarangam Kala-Sahithya Vedi' and literary association were established in school with the aim of nurturing the artistic and subject-related aptitudes naturally in children. The ceremony was officially inaugurated by the Principal in school assembly and various student programs and speeches were conducted. As part of this, students who presented talents at various levels were awarded.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 has celebrated in school with great excitement. As part of this students wearing jerseys of their favourite football teams participated in various games held at school and showcased banners of their favourite football team. The grounds were decorated with house banners and the ceremony began with the kickoff by the principal. The overall championship trophy was also presented to the winning team.
DePaul School has celebrated International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (World Drug Day) on June 26. Mr. Padmakumar R, Assistant Excise Inspector, Angamaly, was the chief guest in the seminar conducted by the school. Programs focused on drug de-addiction awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles and empowering students to build a drug-free society. To raise awareness among society, an anti-drug rally has been conducted in school.
To promote the importance of reading and literacy, DePaul School has celebrated National Reading Day on June 19th. School has conducted various competitions in order to celebrate reading week, like book reviews, reading competitions, poster making and quiz competitions to create a passion for literature among students.
Merit Day has been conducted in school on June 18th for honouring the students who presented excellence in their studies. Mrs Reetha Paul, Chairperson of Angamaly Municipality, was the chief guest in the meeting. Outstanding students were awarded mementos and certificates and acknowledged the vital support and dedication of parents and teachers in shaping student success.
Classes for the Plus One batch started on June 10th. The school manager conducted the inaugural ceremony and prayer session, inspiring students to learn with passion and grow with values. Students along with their parents attended the inaugural ceremony. Entertainment programs were also conducted.
The first day of school for PRE KG & LKG students began on June 8th, which was inaugurated by the school Manager. It was a day filled with mixed feelings of excitement, curiosity and a little nervousness for both the students and their parents as the little ones stepped into a new journey. To make this day special and memorable, golden crowns were placed on their tiny heads, making them feel like little kings and queens. The Vidhyarambham ceremony has been done for the students, which introduced them to the world of letters.
World Environment day has celebrated in school by conducting a special assembly by taking an environmental oath for recognizing the importance of nature in early development. The main motive of the day was Together for a greener tomorrow. To spread awareness about protecting the environment, Principal has planted saplings. An exhibition has also been conducted as part of this by bringing various plants from students.
De Paul School has begun a new academic year on June 1st Monday after the summer vacation. School reopened with colorful celebrations organized as part of Praveshanolsavam which focused on Green protocols and Cyber safety pledge. The school manager inaugurated the event officially followed by Holy Mass. PTA executives also attended the inaugural ceremony.
De Paul EMHSS Angamaly is awarded with ISO 45001: 2018 Certification.
